ETL Test LEAD Jobs in India

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, experience with data integration tools, and a good understanding of data warehousing concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to extract data from multiple sources, transform it, and load it into target systems.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance-optimized scripts.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for data warehouses and reporting systems.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries to improve performance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, QA teams, and reporting teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, mapping documents, and ETL design specifications.
• Support production deployments, job scheduling, monitoring, and incident resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts and data integration processes.
• Proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, analytical functions, and query optimization.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, IBM DataStage, Talend, SSIS, or similar tools.
• Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, star schema, and snowflake schema.
• Knowledge of data transformation, data cleansing, and data quality techniques.
• Experience working with relational databases and large datasets.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and version control.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Python or PySpark.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Airflow.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production support processes.
• Knowledge of data lake and modern data engineering architectures.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• 8–15 years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Hands-on experience in developing, testing, and supporting ETL jobs.
• Experience in data migration, data warehousing, and performance tuning.
